    About the Farm

    • This Geisha coffee hails from La Palma y El Tucan's esteemed Estate & Varietals program, indicating that it has been nurtured and cultivated on their prized 16-hectare estate.
    • The coffee trees at La Palma y El Tucan thrive within a rich ecosystem where various plant species coexist harmoniously. This innovative approach was conceived by LPET's founder, Felipe Sardi, following his studies in Permaculture. Sardi's vision involved a strategic rotation of crops to enrich the soil while maintaining consistent yields, a concept he successfully implemented through the groundbreaking Neighbours & Crops project, revolutionizing the landscape of Cundinamarca.
    • LPET's Elite Picker Squad meticulously oversees the development of coffee plants across their estate and the N&C initiative. Their duties encompass pruning, fertilization, organic composting, and cherry harvesting, ensuring the highest quality beans while supporting neighboring families financially. This meticulous attention to detail extends to other crops and projects facilitated by the security of the N&C program.
    • The sustainability and ingenuity of LPET's approach represent a remarkable achievement within the coffee industry.

    Amazing, best in YYC

The Rosso team is truly something else, best customer service to match with the best coffees Calgary has to offer. There is a tiny premium going with Rosso, but they will consistently always offer the best value. I always try other roasters but no one can beat the quality and customer service that Rosso offers. I really really really miss the La Esmeralda from Panama, or the Black Honey they offered at some point, but their beans are unmatched in Calgary.
