Favourite espresso

For the last 6 months I've been trying espresso blends from numerous roasters across Canada, and this one has absolutely come out on top. This is my new go-to coffee. Not bitter, not acidic, just great tasting balanced espresso with subtle chocolate notes. Great as an Americano, in a latte, and as a straight up 1:2 or 1:3 ratio espresso. Highly recommended!

Awesome Coffee

I’ve tried several different beans from different sources. Nothing beats this one.

Nice espresso, subtle flavours

I appreciate this medium roast blend for its delicate flavours. I find that the flavour profile is sensitive to changes in my workflow, which is good feedback when dialling in the grind or adjusting the brew ratio. It seems a little different each day, which adds a little extra interest to my morning.

Makes crisp milk drinks but too thin and acidic on its own

I tried a variety of recipes and could not enjoy this as straight espresso because I found it to be too acidic and thin bodied. I did like it in a traditional latte/cortado following a similar recipe to the one described in the video and found it to be crisp and balanced.

Excellent beans for the price. I use them in an automatic espresso machine and they produce phenomenal milk based beverages. Really nice in Americano's as well.
