Misty Mountain is a true forest Geisha—young, wild, playful, yet majestic. This mysterious place on the edge of virgin forest has a unique microclimate, sunny and breezy for half the year and misty for the other half. Isolated and accessible only by a kilometer-long drive through lush cloud forest, just getting there is an adventure. Built from scratch with the same passion as Boquete's founders, we cleared by hand, leaving large trees and finding the ideal mix of sun, shade, and monkey bridges. Here we have planted green and bronze tip Geisha, which thrives here at elevations between 1550 and 1800 meters in the La India region. The south-facing orientation allows morning sun while protecting from the dry season's north winds.
