    About the Farm

Felipe Arcila, a co-founder of Cofinet, has been our exporting partner in Colombia since 2019. Apart from his role at Cofinet, Felipe is deeply involved in coffee production, owning farms with his brother Carlos, notably Jardines del Eden.

Rooted in coffee since childhood, Felipe's father, Jairo, purchased his first coffee farm in 1987. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Felipe is committed to making a positive impact on fellow coffee growers' lives and projects through shared knowledge and collaborative success.

This particular Typica lot hails from Jardines del Eden, nestled in the department of Quindio near Pijao city. Acquired with a spirit of experimentation, the farm is a breeding ground for pushing coffee boundaries. It hosts a variety of exotic cultivars like Gesha, Sudan Rume, SL-28, Wush Wush, and Laurina, thriving at one of the highest altitudes in the region.

Following the harvest of plump Typica Mejorado cherries, this lot underwent a dry anaerobic fermentation in ceramic tanks for 72 hours. Subsequently, the coffee was carefully dried on raised beds for 12 days, culminating in a truly remarkable cup.
