• Global Coffee Prices Have Skyrocketed: The average price of green coffee hit 354.32 US cents/lb in February 2025, up 94.6% compared to this time last year.
  
  

•  Exchange Rates: Because all coffee is bought in U.S. dollars, Canadian roasters like us are hit hard when the exchange rate moves unfavourably. 

• Supply Chain Shake-Ups & Higher Global Consumption: Droughts, unpredictable harvests, and reduced inventories have all made sourcing coffee harder—and more expensive. Not to mention for the first time, more coffee is being consumed than produced!
