About The Farm
  • Coocentral has been dedicated to enhancing and distinguishing women’s coffee production within their membership. Between 2017 and 2018, they launched a project designed to provide women with access to better infrastructure and comprehensive training.
  • The program has been implemented in three phases, each targeting a new group of women while covering key areas such as productivity, coffee quality, leadership, and empowerment. These sessions strengthened participants' knowledge in farm management, equipping them with valuable skills to improve their operations.
  • To address drying infrastructure, all women who completed the training received African raised beds, which significantly improved their coffee drying processes. As a result, coffee production increased in both quantity and quality. Coocentral supports these producers by guaranteeing direct trade for their coffee at a differentiated price, ensuring they earn up to 20% above the market average.
