Community

We owe everything to our community - the ones who've raised us. We'll be forever grateful to have an amazing community supporting us and growing, as we do. We're proud to give back to the community and work specifically with a few groups who's mission and vision we believe in. You can learn more about those groups here:

Mealshare is a non-profit on a mission to end hunger. Their team's goal is to make hunger extinct in the world. To date they have provided 1,400,000 meals worldwide.

The Mustard Seed has been serving people experiencing poverty and homelessness in Alberta since the '80s. It has become a haven for those in need of help, which is offered through open hands  and with unconditional love.

Calgary Humane Society uses innovative strategies to lead, inspire and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community which consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for animals.

Lilypad's hand-made filters are created with a specific mixture of clay molded into the shape of a pot that fits inside a 5-gallon bucket. When water is poured into the top, it slowly seeps through the ceramic pot and is ready to be poured from the spout. These water filters are effective, portable, and relatively cheap, making them a perfect solution for this pervasive need. Their water filter factory is located in central Myanmar and employs local Pa-O people in the manufacturing and delivery of the end product.

The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. Once a food emergency is addressed, they refer food bank clients to their proven partner agencies and programs. Their mission is to collaborate with our community to fight hunger.

The Skipping Stone Foundation is a Calgary-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support and empower trans and gender diverse youth and their families in the province of Alberta. They offer workshops, scholarships, skill building opportunities and peer support to help youth and their families empower themselves.

Calgary Firefighter Charitable Foundation helps the unfortunate Calgarians who are affected by fire or other disasters. They will help solve the immediate problems of Calgarians so they can remain resilient when they are faced with the adversity of disasters, and maintain situational awareness so CF2 can anticipate the emerging needs of Calgarians who are affected by disasters. They foster community involvement and generosity by fundraising to help the less fortunate. The Calgary Firefighter Charitable Foundation is known for the same compassion and selflessness in the community as the Calgary Firefighters demonstrate everyday on the fire truck.
