The first taste of this exquisite coffee is a burst of citrus—bright lime and lemon dance on the palate, invigorating the senses. As the flavours unfold, the sweetness of stone fruit and ripe cherry emerge, providing a luscious contrast to the zesty opening. The journey finishes with the deep, satisfying richness of dark chocolate, leaving a lingering impression that is both luxurious and unforgettable.

The Janson farms are meticulously managed in individual lots, allowing for traceability and rigorous quality control. These plantations are thoughtfully divided by natural forest barriers that not only protect against pests but also preserve the indigenous flora and fauna of the region. Within the farms, there exists a private reserve area dedicated to safeguarding secondary forests and the native wildlife of the region.

As a family business, Janson Coffee continues to flourish, always keeping their core values in mind. These values include producing coffee of outstanding quality, maintaining a commitment to sustainable growth, and enhancing the quality of life for their collaborators and their families.

    About the Farm

    • Janson Farms takes a meticulous approach to managing their farms, focusing on the micro-management of individual lots to ensure traceability and quality control. The plantations are thoughtfully separated by forests that serve as natural barriers against pests and, importantly, protect the natural flora and fauna of the region. Within the farms, there is also a private reserve area, dedicated to safeguarding secondary forests and the local wildlife.
    • The overarching goal at Janson Farms is to harmoniously blend quality coffee production with the preservation of the natural environment. To achieve this, they maintain a delicate balance of soil nutrients without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or similar chemicals. A testament to their commitment to environmental stewardship is the presence of beehives near the coffee plantations, which yield delicious honey from the Geisha coffee flowers.
    • Moreover, the farm actively collects native tree seeds from their forests, cultivating them in their nursery under the careful supervision of Haydée San Miguel de Janson. This initiative is geared towards reforestation and the protection of natural water springs, recognizing these springs as invaluable resources in their coffee production processes.
    • Janson Farm goes beyond coffee farming and extends its commitment to the community. They operate a children's daycare center, which provides a safe environment for parents to leave their children during the demanding harvest period. Beyond the harvest season, they have a dedicated teacher who comes on Saturdays to assist school-age children with their studies and teach adults who may not have had the opportunity to attend school but are eager to learn. The daycare center, affectionately named after Mrs. Peggy Janson, offers a space for children to play, learn, and socialize, preparing them for their educational journeys. The children have a strong rapport with their teachers and eagerly anticipate their presence during the harvest season.
